STEP 4
HIGH SCHOOL PLACEMENT WORKSHOP AND TEST

PLACEMENT TEST IS REQUIRED FOR INCOMING FRESHMEN**

The HSPT is used to assist in class placements and to ensure that our freshmen are scheduled for courses most suited for their current academic ability.

All applications submitted before 12/1/2025 include free HSPT exam. Otherwise, the exam is $125.00. Registration for the HSPT is required regardless.

THE TEST DATE AT POMONA CATHOLIC SCHOOL:
SATURDAY, JANUARY 17, 2026

COMPLIMENTARY HSPT WORKSHOP DATE:
SATURDAY, JANUARY 10, 2026

NOTE: HSPT prep class and exam are free available to applicants only. You can register for both on your application portal.

STEP 5
ACCEPTANCE LETTER

For incoming freshman, letters of acceptance will be given on Friday, March 6, 2026. Incoming transfer students and parents are notified upon completion of their interview(s).

STEP 6
ORIENTATION

After receiving notification of acceptance to Pomona Catholic, students must attend/schedule an orientation meeting. Dates and times will be provided via phone and email.
