Student Life
Overview
Life at Pomona Catholic extends far beyond the classroom.
Whether leading through ASB, competing in Speech & Debate, exploring careers in Sports Medicine, serving as a student ambassador, or joining one of our many clubs and activities, students are empowered to discover their passions and step confidently into leadership. Through our dynamic Tri-School partnership with Damien High School and St. Lucy’s Priory High School, students benefit from expanded programs, shared events, and a broader community experience that makes their journey both memorable and transformative.

SPEECH AND DEBATE
Speech and Debate
The Speech & Debate Program at Pomona Catholic empowers young women to find their voice and use it with confidence. Through rigorous practice in argumentation, research, and public speaking, students strengthen their logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and persuasive communication skills. Rooted in discipline and intellectual curiosity, the program develops articulate leaders who speak with clarity, confidence, and conviction.

Dedicated Student Leaders
ASB, the representative student government of Pomona Catholic High School, is a group of dedicated student leaders who seek to create a healthy, active, spiritual, and spirited high school experience for all members of our community. By planning and executing school-centered activities such as rallies, dances, house competitions, and school service projects, ASB provides opportunities for all students to grow spiritually and socially.
Being a member of ASB is a major commitment. Students looking to become members of ASB must be dedicated to the afore mentioned ideas. The members of ASB are exemplarily Pacers whose service, enthusiasm, school spirit, and participation provides a positive role model for all students.

TRI-SCHOOL COMMUNITY
Tri-School Community
The rich history of Pomona Catholic School has paved the way for our community-oriented, partnered relationships. Pomona Catholic's early years were in fact a successful, co-educational high school later to become two separate, single-sex, brother & sister schools; Damien High School for Boys and Pomona Catholic Girls High School. Pomona Catholic and Damien High School later adopted St. Lucy's Priory High School and together created the Tri-School Community. The Tri-School Community has partnered in co- and extracurricular activities to enhance and broaden our student's high school experience. Activities include: athletics, band, cheer, dances, facilities, homecoming, prom, robotics, spirit rallies, sports medicine and much more.
