Campus Ministry

Pomona Catholic High School recognizes the great responsibility of fostering the faith formation of our students, faculty and staff. In the spirit of the Felician Sisters, we hope to follow the model of Blessed Mary Angela's limitless love of God and encourage compassionate service and concern for the salvation of all people. While many of our families are Catholic, our students, faculty and staff come from a variety of religious education which helps prepare our students for the challenges they may face in life. There is a constant presence of the Lord on our campus, from the campus architecture and refurbished religious statues to the moral example set forth by our faculty. Our students have the opportunity to learn how to love compassionately, give unselfishly, and make decisions guided by the Gospel.

Before the start of each school day, our school community shares in the fellowship of morning prayer along with prayer at the start of every class period can be  heard daily. 


Students participate in a retreat every year prepared specifically in their honor and celebrate milestones with a special class Mass and ceremony:
  • 6th Grade Retreat
  • 7th Grade Retreat
  • 8th Grade Retreat
  • Freshmen: "New Beginnings" Retreat & Rose Ceremony
  • Sophomores: "Footprints of Jesus" Retreat & Pendant
  • Juniors: "The Masks We Wear" Retreat & Class Ring Ceremony
  • Seniors: "KAIROS" Retreat & Baccalaureate Mass at Graduation
