Future Leaders Start Here
Pomona Catholic Middle School is leading the way in implementing a creative model for Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. This program functions under the direction of Principal Samuel Torres, who has successfully directed a similar model in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, Maryland. The first of its kind in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Pomona Catholic Middle School will be observed for efficacy in determining the duplication of this model in other Los Angeles Archdiocesan schools.
Although located on the same campus as the High School, Pomona Catholic Middle School operates with its own bell schedule, activities, and sports. The two schools operate as separate entities and typically gather for masses only.
In serving the needs of Catholic families throughout the Pomona Valley, the following focus will best prepare our students at this level for entrance to our local Catholic high schools upon their 8th grade graduation:
- A challenging academic program,
- Exposure to high school mentorship,
- Utilization of resources at Pomona Catholic High School and Damien High School,
- Fine Arts Program,
- Small school environment.
We look forward to creating traditions for the future generations of Pomona Catholic Middle School!
